Employment terms and conditions: Permanent, Full-Time, 30‑50 hours per week, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends (hours vary depending on the season; longer hours from May to September, shorter hours from October to April).

Job Requirements- Language:
English - Education and experience:
Diploma (in hospitality, management, economics, finances, or other related field, or equivalent) plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience - Work setting:
Hotel, Restaurant, Rural area - Ability to supervise: 10‑20 workers (Kitchen and hotel staff)
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Attention to detail, Fast‑paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), Ability to operate and train on all kitchen and hotel equipment - Personal Suitability:

- Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation of the hotel
- Supervise, schedule and organize the cleaning and bookings of the hotel rooms, bathrooms, laundry facilities and front foyer
- Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant kitchen
- Control inventory, and modify procedures and prices
- Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of food, materials, and other supplies
- Recruit and supervise staff
- Oversee staff training
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- May occasionally perform the same duties as the workers supervised
- Resolve customer complaints
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Manage periodic required inspections, including building fire suppression, burglar alarm system, kitchen fire suppression, oil water separator, dish washing equipment, grease trays and cooking hood fan cleaning and inspections
- Hire, evaluate, and supervise contractors for various building maintenance requirements, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, snow removal and garbage service
