SUMMARY

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on job postings, onboarding, and HR administrative processes. This position coordinates hiring administration from job posting through onboarding, ensures accurate system entry and compliance, and supports employee status changes and terminations throughout employment.

This role provides essential day-to-day HR support, assists with compliance requirements, and contributes to HR projects as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

After successful completion of the first 90 days, this position will transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office / 2 days remote).

PAY
  • $22 - $27 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Primary Focus)
  • Post job openings in the Applicant Tracking System (Clear) and on additional job boards as needed
  • Coordinate recruitment logistics and assist with sourcing candidates, including attending job fairs as needed
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and new hire communications
  • Guide candidates through pre-employment documentation, background checks, and onboarding requirements
  • Accurately hire new employees in the ATS (Clear) to ensure seamless integration with payroll/HRIS systems (UKG)
  • Create and maintain new hire files
  • Upload onboarding documentation into compliance software (Compli)
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of I-9 and E-Verify requirements
Employee Lifecycle Administration
  • Process employee terminations, including system updates, documentation, and internal coordination
  • Process employee status changes such as transfers, promotions, pay changes, leaves, and reclassifications
  • Assist with unemployment-related documentation and responses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files
  • Maintain and update the corporate contact list
  • Assist with job description updates and documentation maintenance
HR Operations & Support
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the HR Director and HR team
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the HR inbox or ticketing system
  • Compile and maintain HR reports related to onboarding, staffing, turnover, and personnel activity
  • Stay current on company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal employment laws
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED required; a combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field: 0+ years of related experience
  • Associate degree (AA) in a related field: 1+ year of related HR or administrative experience
  • No degree: 2–4 years of related HR, administrative, or coordination experience
  • HR certification (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work legally in the United States
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
