Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Longview, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work across both litigation and transactional matters while collaborating closely with a dynamic group of professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation and trial exposure, coupled with excellent communication and team-oriented skills.

Responsibilities:

- Manage cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring thorough preparation and execution.

- Represent clients effectively in court appearances, hearings, and trials.

- Oversee discovery processes, draft motions, conduct depositions, and prepare for trial.

- Collaborate with partners and colleagues in a supportive and team-driven environment.

- Handle legal matters in areas such as business litigation, collections, real estate disputes, personal injury, and insurance defense.

- Analyze contracts and transactional documents, offering detailed reviews and recommendations.

- Assist in drafting and revising contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Conduct due diligence for business and real estate transactions.

- Provide legal guidance and support on business and real estate-related matters.

- Stay current with legal standards and practices to deliver high-quality representation. Requirements - Juris Doctor (JD) degree, preferably from a Texas law school.

- Active Texas Bar license in good standing.

- 5-7+ years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on litigation.

- Proven experience in civil litigation, including trial exposure.

- Knowledge of insurance defense practices and procedures is highly valued.

- Strong ability to handle cases independently with minimal supervision.

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced legal environment.
