Overview

Komatsu currently has a 2nd shift Coil Winder position open in the Longview, Texas operations facility. Komatsu offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits and annual merit/bonus potential.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work safe and be an advocate for safety
  • Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the winder position
  • Clean and maintains equipment, tooling and area
  • Select and load materials such as work pieces and machine parts onto equipment used in the winding process
  • Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation and coils using hand tools
  • Make accurate connections using solder and brazing process and equipment
  • Set up and operate all of the equipment and tooling required for the winder position
Qualifications/Requirements
  • 2 years of experience or equivalent knowledge of motor/coil winding duties
  • Broad knowledge of parts and procedures regarding the motor/coil winding process
  • Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances, minimizing scrap all within standard routing hours and with an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong blue-print reading skills
  • Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol testing including hair follicle
  • Must be able to work overtime, and weekends as required
