Nurse Manager - Longview
Texas Oncology is looking for a Nurse Manager (RN) to join our team at the Longview location. This full‑time position operates Monday‑Friday from 8 am‑5 pm with no weekend, on‑call, or major holiday work.

What does the Nurse Manager (RN) do?The Nurse Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services (if applicable) to provide nursing support for operations, advise clinicians on best‑practice implementation, oversee education and training programs, and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.
Responsibilities- Ensure clinical operations and practice are consistent with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with practice management on operational projects such as site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, the Oncology Care Model (OCM), and other special projects as assigned.
- Facilitate the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence‑based practices.
- Facilitate implementation of standardized best practices within the organization.
- Ensure practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care.
- Ensure the incorporation of clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards.
- Staff development: assess staffing levels and issues, patient flow, current practices in the clinical setting.
- Assist with the development of company‑wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules; coordinate employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse.
- 5 years of leadership experience.
- OCN certification preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.

Physical RequirementsLarge percent of time performing computer‑based work is required. May require standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Requires full range of body motion, hand dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
