Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) dayshift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
• Position is in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Travel nurse contract with a 13-week assignment
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than 1 week
• Travelers with recent PCU experience will be responsible for delivering specialized patient care in a team environment
• Holiday coverage may be required according to hospital policy
Requirements
• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care/PCU required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Driver's license and U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
• All licenses and certifications must be valid and not expire within 30 days of the start date
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems (CHS) facility within the last 2 years
