Charge Nurse - LVN or RN at Whispering Pines Lodge

Shift Available: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Full‑time.

• $2,000 Sign‑On Bonus – LVN

• Direct Care Teams:
  Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications:
  Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans:
  Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments:
  Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders:
  Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care:
  Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports:
  Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff:
  Implement nursing policies and procedures and educate staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards:
  Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs:
  Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to organize workflows effectively.
• Efficient response to emergencies and meticulous attention to detail.
• Availability to work full‑time shifts as required.
