This role is for an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care in an outpatient oncology clinic. Responsibilities include managing patient treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting the growth of the oncology service line ahead of a new Cancer Center opening. The position requires relevant certification, clinical experience, and a full-time commitment in Longview, TX.

We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Longview, TX . This role will begin in our established oncology clinic, helping to build and grow our oncology service line ahead of the opening of our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center in October 2026 .

• Provide comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting

• Manage follow-up visits, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as appropriate

• Collaborate closely with oncologists, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team

• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care

• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and ensure continuity of care

• Support the growth and development of the oncology program as patient volume increases

• Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

• Oncology Certified (AOCN) through Oncology Nursing Society

• Previous experience in hematology/oncology required

• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills

• Commitment to building a long-term practice and serving the community

• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
