American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TX or compact RN license and 3+ years of ED experience.

• 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Services department
• MIDS shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No block scheduling
• Unit has 24 beds plus 4 hall beds
• Patient ratio of 4:1 unless working fast track/triage
• Uses MEDHOST EMR

• Active RN license valid in the State of Texas (TX or compact)
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• 3+ years of emergency nursing experience required
• Standard emergency nursing experience required
• Ultrasound IV skills preferred
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

• Scrubs required in any solid color
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Blackout dates apply for the weekend after Thanksgiving and the weeks of Christmas and New Year's
• Maximum RTO of 3 shifts, with requests needing to be less than 1 week
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
