American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TX or compact license and a minimum of 3 years ED experience.

• 13-week assignment with day shift hours from 7a-7p
• Emergency Services unit with 24 beds plus 4 hall beds
• Patient ratio of 4:1, except in fast track/triage areas
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• No block scheduling
• EMR system used is Med Host

• Active RN license valid in Texas (Standard or Compact)
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• 3+ years of recent Emergency Dept experience required
• Standard emergency nursing experience required
• Ultrasound IV skills preferred
• Scrubs of any solid color required

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• Blackout dates apply for the weekend after Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas and New Year's
• Maximum RTO of 3 shifts during the assignment
• Candidates with gaps of 90+ days in work history within the past 12 months will not be considered
• Previous CHS facility perm staff employees within the last 2 years are not eligible for this position
