Inventory Control Coordinator

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping/receiving, fulfilling field part requests, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting nonconformance processes under the supervision of a senior controller, manager. Candidates MUST be local to Kilgore/Longview Shop, have reliable transportation.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

0–3 years in purchasing, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or a related field
Ideal candidates will be detail‑oriented, organized, and team‑focused with a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced shop environment.

• Must successfully pass a pre‑employment background check, physical, and drug screen
• Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, on call every other weekend, with some overtime.
Rotating weekend on‑call required

Work Location:

Based in Kilgore/Longview area shop; must be comfortable working in non‑climate‑controlled environments with occasional loud noise

• Manage all shipping and receiving activities including proper truck loading/unloading
• Maintain and update receiving logs per DWS Quality Management System standards
• Fulfill field part requests and organize transportation of items
• Monitor inventory levels and notify purchaser when reorders are necessary
• Ensure clean and organized shop and inventory areas, storing parts per OEM standards
• Support nonconformance investigations and documentation with the Quality Manager
• Adhere to all company shop policies and safety procedures
• Assist with other projects and duties as assigned
