Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician
We are looking for a BOP Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair, and pressure testing of Blowout Prevention parts and components. The position is based in Longview/Kilgore, TX.
Pay Range$23.00/hr - $33.08/hr (tiered based on experience)

- High school diploma or GED
- 1-5 years of proven experience servicing BOPs or related job experience; prior BOP experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined, self-motivating individuals
- Experience with order desk and consumable materials management is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Successful pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
- Service all blowout prev enters (Ram and spherical types) and associated valves
- Perform and document all pressure tests for components after service
- Obtain and maintain an inventory of consumable materials and parts
- Organize and maintain the facility, testing station, and BOP storeroom
- Assist management in developing a preventative maintenance system
- Assist management in training additional BOP Technicians
- Assist field personnel with job-related problems related to BOP components
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to meet API and company requirements
- Perform field service as required, including troubleshooting, repairs, nipple up, and servicing
- Maintain and operate hydraulic torque wrenches
- Perform other duties as assigned
