Walmart is expanding across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. • Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital and power tools.
• Utilize the work‑order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart Refin​er‑HTC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 5–7 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field for commercial HVAC/R.
• Passing score on Ramsey Technician Level 3 HVAC/R test.
• Minimum 6 months experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R equipment.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.
• Intermediate word‑processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software skills.
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, and qualifications. Eligible for bonus incentive.
