Elwood Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Longview, TX! Monday-Thursday 5am-4pm $25-30/hr DOE

Maintenance Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 04:00pm)
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Grease, lubricate, and service machines according to manufacturer specifications
- Install and troubleshoot air piping and compressed air systems
- Set up tooling and adjust fixtures on production equipment
- Check voltages and perform basic electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Assist with Point of Control (POC) troubleshooting if experienced or escalate when needed
- Accurately maintain maintenance records and logs
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce equipment downtime
- Manage and perform regular maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs for company trucks and trailers
- Schedule and coordinate third-party service or inspections as needed for fleet vehicles
- Ensure all DOT, safety, and maintenance standards are met for transportation equipment
Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant mechanical or electrical maintenance experience, or equivalent technical education
- Exposure to PLC/POC systems or willingness to learn basic troubleshooting
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
