HVAC Technician

Burns Quality Services, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to provide dependable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service for residential and commercial customers in the Longview, TX area.

The HVAC Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient comfort and reliable performance. This role performs hands-on troubleshooting, installs and services equipment, and delivers quality work aligned with established service standards.

Working onsite in Longview, TX, the HVAC Technician will partner with customers and team members to complete service calls efficiently, document work accurately, and uphold professionalism throughout every job.

• Diagnose HVAC system issues and perform repairs across heating and cooling equipment, as well as related components.

• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups to improve efficiency and reduce service disruptions.

• Install, replace, and configure HVAC systems and parts according to safety and quality standards.

• Communicate with customers and team members regarding findings, recommended solutions, and service outcomes.

• Maintain accurate service documentation, including work performed and parts used, in accordance with company procedures.

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical components.

• Ability to read and interpret basic system information (e.g., service notes, diagrams, and specifications).

• Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and safe handling of tools and equipment.

• Ability to work onsite in Longview, TX, and perform essential tasks required for service work.

• Willingness to learn and follow established service procedures and quality expectations.

• Experience servicing and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.

• Familiarity with installing HVAC equipment and replacing major components.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively and complete work with minimal rework.

• Strong customer service skills with a professional, respectful approach on service calls.

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced service environment.
