Position: Electronics Restoration Technician

We take pride in helping homeowners and businesses recover their belongings following unexpected disasters. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Electronics Restoration Technician to join our growing team.

The Electronics Restoration Technician is responsible for inspecting, documenting, cleaning, testing, and restoring electronic equipment affected by fire, smoke, water, and other environmental damage.

The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment. Previous experience in electronics repair, computer hardware, or related technical fields is highly desirable.

• Inspect and evaluate electronic equipment for damage, contamination, and restoration potential.
• Professionally clean and restore electronics affected by smoke, soot, dust, and other contaminants.
• Disassemble and reassemble electronic equipment when necessary for proper cleaning and restoration.
• Perform basic diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to determine equipment functionality.
• Document equipment condition, identifying information, testing results, and restoration procedures.
• Photograph, inventory, label, and track customer electronics throughout the restoration process.
• Identify equipment that may be unsafe, damaged beyond repair, or require specialized evaluation.
• Safely operate electronic cleaning equipment, tools, and restoration systems.
• Assist with the careful packing, handling, transportation, and storage of electronic equipment.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Follow company procedures and industry best practices to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to work with computers, electronic devices, and basic hand tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately document work performed.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Experience repairing or troubleshooting computers, televisions, appliances, or other electronic equipment.
• Experience with electronics cleaning, refurbishment, or restoration.
• Familiarity with circuit boards, electronic components, and diagnostic testing equipment.
• Previous employment in IT support, electronics repair, technical maintenance, or a similar field.

Restoration industry experience is not required. Training will be provided to candidates with the right technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
