General Responsibilities- Set forms; pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered trowels and other equipment.
- Bolt, nail, align and block under forms.
- Work harmoniously and cooperatively with others at all times.
- Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
- Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.
- Work within defined standards of accuracy.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to use arms and hand to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.
- Ability to work overtime, as required.
- Experience of 2 years minimum.
- Willingness to learn multiple tasks of the concrete operation.
- Ability to abide by strict but necessary safety rules and policies.
A Concrete Form Setter or Finisher will be responsible for forming, placing, finishing concrete and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen.
