Averaging $685 or more per week — and it gets better.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $27.40 per hour + $5.55 per hour health & welfare stipend
• Hours per week:
  Up to 29 hours
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Saturday (off Sunday)

Additional required USPS screening:

• A secondary background screen - Federal Level 2 conducted by USPS
• Selective Service registration for males born after December 31, 1959 (unless exempt)

We will buy your truck if you’re looking to switch from owner‑operator to a company employee driver.

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment if position is operating a straight truck or box truck:
• 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, and/or customer‑specific background requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional responsibilities may include:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records, loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
