Department OverviewColumbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking Hospitalists to join our established Hospitalist Division in Astoria, Oregon.
Function/Duties of PositionOpportunity to provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast while having an affiliation with the state of Oregon's only academic medical center.
- Physician led hospitalist program where person-centered care is prioritized.
- Prioritize work-life balance with a 158 annual shift requirement.
- Average of 13.2, 12-hour shifts per month including day and night shifts.
- Tele-intensivists are available for consultation on all ICU patients.
- Collaborative hospitalist division with daily APP coverage.
- Growing and financially strong organization.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License.
- DEA Certificate, ACLS Certification.
- Shift based compensation model with differential for night shifts.
- $20,000 hiring bonus.
- $5,000 annual CME stipend.
- Relocation bonus or hospital owned housing provided during scheduled shifts.
