Lower Columbia College (LCC) is seeking a Rural Outreach Navigator who will serve as a direct liaison between LCC and students at rural high schools.

• Conduct regular outreach and engagement activities with high‑school students, including application assistance, financial aid and scholarship preparation, and education about dual credit opportunities.
• Provide direct support with admissions activities and maintain collaboration with the High School College and Career Readiness Specialist at rural schools through communication, data sharing, and training.
• Support the Director of Outreach and the outreach team in event planning, recruitment, and engagement of prospective students within the college service district.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with campus services (Advising, Effectiveness, College Relations, Faculty, Financial Aid, One‑Stop, Registration, Testing, etc.) to ensure excellent service to students.
• Create and implement communication plans that keep prospective students on track with key activities through enrollment and beyond.
• Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director to deliver targeted outreach to historically underrepresented populations, including communities of color, low‑income communities, students with disabilities, opportunity youth, and adult learners.
• Demonstrate cultural competence and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all interactions.

• Classification:
  Program Specialist 2 (40 hrs/week)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
• Assignment pay premium for Spanish language skills (5%) if assessed Spanish‑speaking.
• Reports to:
  
  Director of Outreach Services.
• Salary:
  Competitive with scheduled increases.
