About the Role

As a Special Education Teacher at Lilac, you will play an essential role in shaping the learning trajectories of students with diverse and intensive needs. You will design individualized curriculum pathways, oversee the implementation of goals, collaborate directly with BCBAs and the Site Director, and serve as the teacher of record for your caseload.

We operate a year-round program
, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., in an on-site, highly supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities Staff Leadership
  • Provide ongoing PD and coaching to Lead Techs and Behavior Technicians
  • Delegate effectively to maintain instructional and behavioral treatment fidelity
  • Collaborate with the BCBA on student objectives, programming, and documentation
Student Support
  • Identify student needs and design SDI, accommodations, and supports
  • Prepare lessons, resources, progress reports, and IEP documentation
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to performance and data trends
  • Implement physical management and isolation protocol as required (with training provided and assistance of ABA trained behavior protocol)
  • Maintain an inclusive, safe, predictable classroom environment
Families & Facility
  • Communicate with parents about progress, goals, and next steps
  • Research, modify, and implement curriculum
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe facility
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
