IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
Cowlitz PUD is the local publicly owned power company for Cowlitz County. We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Operational Technology Team.

- Monday through Thursday 4-10 schedule, working 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Through our Strategic Planning process, Cowlitz PUD prioritized the following initiatives for the coming years in accordance with our mission and vision:
Ensure an adequate and reliable power supply to meet the electric load requirements and clean energy obligations of Cowlitz PUD and the community.
Develop and manage Cowlitz PUD’s assets and planning tools to ensure a high level of electric reliability, physical and cyber security, and safety.
Implement business systems to achieve efficient use of Cowlitz PUD’s resources.
Cowlitz PUD will communicate, educate, and engage with its employees, customers, and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and prepare for future change.
As a Systems Analyst your role is to plan, design, develop and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core business functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues to maximize efficiency in support of business functions.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in information technology. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
- Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
Qualifications:
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in the Utility industry.
- Experience is design, development and implantation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

- Work is performed in the office Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Remote work is not available for this position.
