You’ll Do

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for all functions at our industrial food waste processing facility in Longview, WA. Key responsibilities include maintaining a productive culture based on respect, managing accountability to standard work processes, hands‑on leadership with daily operations and maintenance tasks, and effective communication within the facility and the company.

Shifts Available
  • Night Shift: 2/2/3, 6 pm to 6:30 am
Responsibilities
  • Directly manage, hire and train operators and maintenance personnel; provide guidance and performance feedback
  • Oversee shift‑to‑shift operations of the plant, including production scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation
  • Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency‑enhancing measures
  • Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance to assess equipment condition, facility cleanliness, and ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all employees
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, engineering, and logistics, to optimize plant performance and meet production targets
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate material procurement to support production
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies at all times
  • Prepare reports on plant performance, including production metrics, quality control data, and safety incidents
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Must be able to bend, stand, walk, sit, kneel frequently
  • Comfortable and able to transition on and off a forklift handling multiple tasks throughout a shift
  • Comfortable operating equipment and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Capable of handling potential changes in temperature on site, humidity and wetness in the working area
What We’re Looking For
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years in an operations management role with hiring and people management
  • Proven track record of leading production/processing systems
  • Ability to work with ambiguity by asking thoughtful questions that provide data, which is then analyzed and synthesized to make balanced assessments and smart decisions
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
  • Familiarity with operating machinery and hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
