Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Longview location. This PRN (as needed) position has no weekend, call or major holiday shifts. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients on current status and medical history.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional materials.
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care.
- Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and record the information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.
- Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team, coordinating services related to patient care.
- Assist patients in locating available community resources.
- Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 3–5 years nursing experience.

Physical RequirementsRequires full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time and occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
