Full time position, no weekends. Hours may vary depending on patient flow. Compensation:
Market competitive wages based on work experience and education Responsibilities:
- The role involves providing patient care, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Majority of your time will be dedicated to direct patient care including, but not limited to: obtaining a detailed medical history, performing lung function testing, placing and interpreting allergy skin tests, supervising administration of injections, facilitating oral challenges, assisting with procedures, and providing patient education.
- You may also be responsible for patient, pharmacy & insurance follow-ups. Other administrative tasks may including supervising other medical staff and managing schedules & resources in the clinic.
- Patient Care, Diagnosis, and Treatment skills
- Ordering and Interpreting Tests, and Prescribing Medications skills
- Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant
- Experience working in a primary care or internal medicine setting is a plus
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a team member
- Professional demeanor with a focus on accurate, efficient, and comprehensive patient care
- Kind, upbeat, and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual and reliable attendance
