Job Description

As an Applebee's Cook, you will prepare menu items that make guests want to return. You must be a great communicator and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You will work hard, and have a great time doing it.

• Prepare and cook menu items to specifications and ensure quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation; follow health and safety guidelines.
• Handle food safely and adhere to company policies on food handling and hygiene.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Commitment to making an impact and contributing to a positive team environment.

• Compensation:
  Applebee's® Cooks start at $18 up to $25.00 per hour, plus tips.

• Daily Pay offered where available (not available in California).
• Paid sick leave and other benefits as applicable by location.

• Ability to remain stationary and move for lengthy periods (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds; work in hot and damp environments.
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively; dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
• Ability to wear protective gear and disinfectant cleaning supplies; frequent handwashing.
