Asset Protection Specialist

Overview

Asset Protection Specialist at The Home Depot. The role focuses on preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in assigned store(s).

• Identify incidents of theft and fraud, review CCTV and exception reports, monitor store security, audit the Electronic Article Surveillance, and drive a shrink elimination culture in the store.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in criminal and civil court actions.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform duties in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
• Demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.

Base pay range: $19.50/hr
