  • 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and monitoring safety practices and training programs, preferably with a general contractor in the construction sector.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent.
  • A valid OSHA 500 or OSHA 501 certification is mandatory; SWPPP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and educate employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software (e.g., Procore, Red Team, or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with safety software systems and reporting tools (Auto Desk, BIM, OSHA apps, etc).
  • Travel to building sites as required, with frequent overnight and weekend travel for project oversight and meetings.
  • Ability to use metrics and reporting to drive safety initiatives, policies, and reporting.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • The role is both office and field‑based, requiring a consistent presence on active construction sites and time in administrative settings.
  • Work in both office and construction environments, exposed to loud noise, heavy equipment, airborne particles, dust, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb and access elevated work areas, including roofs, scaffolding, and ladders; occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or reaching required.
