Police Trainee: Path to Certified Officer

City of Longwood is seeking Police Trainee candidates who will enroll in the Florida Law Enforcement Recruit Academy and progress toward becoming sworn Police Officers. The role includes administrative duties and supervised training, with the possibility of advancing to the Police Officer position upon successful completion of all requirements.

Candidates must meet CJSTC-approved academy criteria, pass background checks, and maintain physical fitness standards throughout the training process.
