Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Construction Manager I
Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is transforming how capital projects are planned, managed and executed. As a Construction Manager I, you will help deliver factories, grids, transit systems and public infrastructure that keep communities moving—smoother, safer and more sustainable.
Responsibilities- Monitor, coordinate and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations and environmental documents; document all construction equipment, personnel and activities.
- Perform daily field inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Identify non‑compliant work, bring it into compliance and report critical issues or possible delays.
- Manage office responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, drafting required reports and deliverables.
- Monitor contractor performance, schedule and overall responsiveness effectiveness.
- Influence contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule and quality.
- Manage the contractor payment process and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Maintain safety and health compliance with applicable regulations and contract provisions.
- Ensure all changes and modifications are documented on final plans and perform constructability reviews.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with contractors, entities, clients and regulatory agencies.
- B.S. or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or 5–7 years of construction management experience.
- Must be able to obtain PE Licensure and/or CCM within 24 months.
- 5–7 years of experience in constructing water and wastewater facilities, including collection, treatment and distribution systems.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, crawl, climb and reach overhead; lift 40 lb or more; comply with PPE; endure extreme temperatures, loud noises and fumes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook and Project. - Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Bonus: CMIT preferred; ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level 1 or ODOT Prequalified Inspector desirable within first year.
$66,000 – $83,000 per year. Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles hired in the various U.S. locations.
Work EnvironmentFlexible location mix of remote, onsite at client sites or Accenture offices. Availability of in‑person collaboration as required.
