Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Civil Design Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in the design and engineering of essential infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water reclamation systems, and wastewater systems. You will work on local projects in Ohio, providing innovative solutions for both public and private sectors.
Responsibilities- Coordinate effectively between clients and internal staff.
- Develop detailed designs and plans for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, sanitary collection systems, and water distribution systems.
- Create technical specifications, permit applications, sewer system evaluation surveys, and cost estimates.
- Assist in the development of project scopes and schedules.
- Civil Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited institution, with a focus on tracking P.E licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing water and wastewater projects such as pump stations, sanitary collection systems, and water distribution systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or Revit.
Skills & Qualifications
- FE/EIT certification.
- P.E. licensure.
- Experience in municipal projects.
The position is based in an office environment working five days a week at one of the offices located in Mansfield, Elyria, or Lorain, OH. The office is a new, standalone building with ten offices, and you will have your own office space. You will report to the manager in Mansfield, OH, and the director of engineering. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lorain, OH.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
