Project Support Technician

This range represents the typical compensation for this role, but is subject to adjustment based on further evaluation of the candidate and the market which can include factors such as required qualifications, education, experience, and location.

Please also note that the range is based on multiple, client-set levels and that GEM applies reasonable factors that can adjust the wage rate differential.

We are seeking a Project Support Technician to join our team supporting the Portsmouth Site
! This position is full-time and will be based out of Piketon, Ohio.

Responsibilities

Performs Project Support job functions under direct supervision as assigned by management.

Assists and supports management in ensuring that all site Project Support are conducted in a manner that is safe, cost effective, and fully compliant with procedures and all contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Assists and supports management in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Supports specific Project Support programs, processes, administrative, business services or related areas.

Assists in generating reports, data files, and preparation of routine documents.

Performs assigned tasks according to detailed instructions and established policies and procedures.

Provides administrative and/or functional support to the Project Support team.

Performs duties of general/routine complexity in nature.

Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner.

Participates in Safety Work Groups.

Requirements

Education & Years of Experience
- High School Diploma and 0+ years of relevant experience.

Citizenship
- To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.

Clearance
- To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

Basic interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic PC skills including Microsoft software.

Desired Skills

An active or very recently active DOE "Q" Clearance or DoD "Top Secret" Clearance.
