CT Tech - Weekends Only - Lorain Hospital

• 24 Scheduled Hours Per Week
• Shift Times - Days/Afternoons
• Weekends Only - Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• This position qualifies for a 30% pay premium as part of our weekend-only program

The CT Technologist provides direct patient care by applying the skill of diagnostic imaging utilizing CT scanning equipment. They will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic CT scans.

• Confirm that all pertinent patient and procedural data is correct.
• Perform computed tomography procedures.
• Position and immobilize patients on CT scanning cradles.
• Make radiation exposures by energizing scanner.
• Perform intravenous injections and administer oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contrast agents specific to procedures.
• Assist the radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Maintain working knowledge of CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participate in on-call rotation and timeouts as required.

• Associate's from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred)

• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
• Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
• Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred, or must obtain within 2 years)
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)

• 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech (preferred)
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
• Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred)
