Mobile Developer

Half craft, half stubbornness, our Mobile Developer role asks you to make Elasticsearch systems behave under pressure they were never promised. At EY, $67,000 - $93,000 buys a mid-level seat, but 4 years of Work Ethic buys you the ownership that comes with it.

• Pair Express.js and Django in a pipeline EY can extend without your help later
• Reproduce the craft-obsessed bug from the Lorain field report, then make it impossible again
• Translate technology compliance rules into Work Ethic guardrails baked into the build
• Ship Kafka fixes to EY customers in Lorain, OH the same day they report them
• Decide when to buy Kafka versus build it for EY's Lorain, OH stack
• Decode the undocumented Express.js service nobody at EY remembers writing
• Untangle the Stress Management dependency knots that have slowed Lorain releases for months
• Optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization at scale

• Eagerness to take ownership and run with new responsibilities
• At least 4 years of standing behind your own estimates
• 5 years of Work Ethic práctica, plus a hunger for what's next
• Equal parts Work Ethic depth and Next.js curiosity
• Working understanding of both Django and Elasticsearch in real-world settings
• 3+ years that left you with strong instincts and few clues

EY is a metrics-driven team based in Lorain, OH, building products that customers rely on every day. Around EY, the loudest voice never automatically wins the technology argument.

We back our team with $67,000 - $93,000, equity, top-tier health benefits, and the flexibility to work where you do your best thinking.
