Talent Edge Recruiting is recruiting for a Project Coordinator / Scheduler for a busy site development contractor handling both residential and commercial projects in the DC metro area. This role is suitable for someone who is proactive, thrives under pressure, and can switch gears quickly. It offers the chance to be at the center of operations for a fast-growing, family-owned company.
Basepay and location
Base pay range
: $60,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Lorton, VA
- Field calls from site supervisors and builders to coordinate scheduling needs
- Ensure all necessary documents are in place, including utility tickets, signed contracts, work orders, and printed plans
- Manage and update the daily whiteboard schedule for multiple active projects
- Balance logistics for 25–30 commercial projects and 30–50 residential projects in various stages
- Keep schedules running smoothly despite last-minute changes from builders and shifting priorities
- Work closely with field teams to ensure jobs are ready to start and stay on track
- 2–3+ years of scheduling or project coordination experience (more is welcome)
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with construction operations and terminology
- A go-getter attitude with the ability to pivot quickly when plans change
- Comfortable working in a casual, construction-office culture
- Knowledge of pipe, machinery, or utility construction terminology
- $60K–$85K base salary depending on experience
- Performance-based bonus potential
