Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic Therapy in Lorton, VA is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapy Technician to support our outpatient physical therapy services.

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and assisting them in changing into therapy apparel or equipment.
• Answers patient questions, alleviates concerns, and provides necessary information.
• Helps patients undergo heat pack or paraffin therapies, assists entry into whirlpool baths, and monitors patients on exercise equipment by tracking motion, walking time, and distance.
• Performs prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques under therapist guidance.
• Demonstrates proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and a safe, clean working environment in accordance with procedures and regulations.
• Sterilizes and supplies equipment, positions instruments for therapist use, and assists patients onto equipment.
• Ensures proper functioning of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and requesting repairs.
• Contributes to the department’s reputation by taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities to add value.

• 1–2 years of experience in a physical therapy office (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
