Investigative Analyst

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Investigative Analyst to enhance security posture for US federal government clients. The role involves performing rapid investigation and remediation of advanced cyberattacks, monitoring alerts for sensitive assets, and responding to known attacker campaigns using cybersecurity expertise and threat intelligence.

• Evaluate security risks and impacts of incidents and threats
• Proactively hunt and monitor for indications of misuse or attack
• Investigate and remediate misuse and attacks, including basic forensics activities
• Document security events via technical reports and incident management protocols
• Create, maintain, and enforce Sec Ops tools, capabilities, and processes
• Lead and participate in cybersecurity-related exercises

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field with 2+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience (or 3+ years without a degree)
• 1+ year of hands‑on experience operating in a cloud environment, with strong preference for Azure
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise vulnerability management tools
• 2+ years of experience with querying languages
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or DoD 8140 certification with willingness to maintain
• Deep understanding and hands‑on experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Willingness to obtain Microsoft SC-200 certification within 6 months of onboarding
• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Experience with Splunk, HBSS, ACAS, or Microsoft Security Products
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or equivalent
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  pipelines and SAFe methodology supporting Security Operations
• DoD 8570 CSSP Incident Responder certification
• Strong oral and written communication skills

$106,300–$206,200 USD annually; benefits package available; compensation varies by location, role, skill set, and experience level
