HVAC Maintenance Technician – Southern Home Services

Southern Home Services, a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company operating nationwide, is looking for a dynamic HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lorton, VA.

This is a full‑time, entry‑level position with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing HVAC systems for residential customers, ensuring quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems – air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensate drainage.
• Perform routine service work on HVAC systems.
• Provide a top‑notch customer experience and communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Positive attitude and dedication to quality work.
• Customer‑service oriented.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.
• Adaptable, flexible, and innovative team player.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical‑thinking skills.
• EPA certification.
• 1+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in the residential market.

• Lifting 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
• Ability to drive.
• Working in indoor and outdoor settings, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
• Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• Regular exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
