We're looking for a reliable and customer‑focused individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Courier. You're a problem‑solver with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional service. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are comfortable working independently.
Requirements Key Responsibilities:- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Operate light trucks to deliver Gentell products along established routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Customer Service Excellence: Build strong relationships with customers, providing courteous and professional service, including in‑facility deliveries and stock checks.
- Vehicle Management: Conduct pre‑trip inspections, ensure proper loading/unloading, and maintain accurate vehicle records (mileage, fuel, etc.).
- Communication & Reporting: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, reporting vehicle issues, accidents, and delivery challenges.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and other relevant information, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in delivery and customer service.
- Clear criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends.
