Insight Global is seeking a Senior Estimator for a leading electrical preconstruction and construction services company. This position will be full‑time onsite in Los Alamitos. The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates for RFQ/RFP documents, subcontractor proposals, and vendor bids or quotations. This position reports directly to the Director of Preconstruction and requires strong technical knowledge of electrical codes and construction practices.

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for developing detailed budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take‑offs from plans, specifications, or conceptual information through the estimating software Accubid and Live Count. This includes reviewing and interpreting project documents to identify unique requirements, conducting site reviews, and ensuring all drawings, specifications, and labor requirements are clear and documented. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines while collaborating with team members across departments to support project‑specific needs.

• 7+ years of experience in Electrical Construction Estimating.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, Title 24, CBC, and local codes.
• Background in commercial building estimating and familiarity with contract documentation.
• Proficiency in Accubid, MS Word, Teams and Excel.
• Experience in Design‑Build projects.
• Ability to interpret complex project documents and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
