Clinical Lab Scientist LOM - Microbiology Lab PT Day with weekend rotation

• The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs routine testing in various areas of the laboratory.
• Assumes responsibility for the accurate performance and documentation of test results, quality control, maintenance, test validation, and calibration procedures.
• Works under the supervision of the Administrative Director and Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist License issued by the State of California Department of Health Services.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
  • Customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Acute care hospital laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
