Nuclear Medicine Tech LOM

Your Role on the Team:
Under general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the nuclear medicine technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.

• Maintain a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for diagnostic imaging.
• Perform all nuclear medicine procedures as assigned.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Current and Active NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) Licensure for Nuclear Medicine.
• Registered and licensed by the State of California.
• CPR Certification.
• Customer service skills appropriate to the job; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

• 2 years progressively more responsible experience under nuclear related program/job.
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
