The Commercialization Manager is a highly collaborative role and responsible for safeguarding business commitments to customers through seamless project execution and cross‑functional collaboration. Reporting to the Commercialization Director, this position will provide strategic account leadership and acts as a critical link between the commercialization team, sales and the customer to ensure manufacturing plants are internally aligned and prepared, enabling the business to deliver on its promises.

This dynamic addition to the Sales & Marketing Team partners closely with cross‑functional teams at each manufacturing facility to manage the flow of information, track deliverables, remove barriers to execution and ensure cross functional accountability in the commercialization process. Principal Accountabilities
  • Translate commercialization needs from the business managers to the cross functional commercialization teams and the manufacturing plants, including new innovation/SKUs, renovation/maintenance and productivity initiatives
  • Coordinates and leads commercialization meetings with manufacturing plants to ensure the business needs are translated and executed into production
  • Ensures production readiness and alignment by keeping cross functions accountable for their part in the commercialization process
  • Provide support and training to the business managers in executing the commercialization process including developing timelines, action logs, and checklists.
  • Support the BOM process and ensure the Commercialization Coordinator understands BOM priorities from the business and across each manufacturing plant
  • Works closely with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Planning, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to align priorities, resolve issues, and keep projects on track
  • Support business development group with commercialization requests and project deliverables
  • Provides timely, relevant updates to internal teams and customers regarding project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Acts as the liaison with customers for updates on commercialization initiatives and action items
  • Support the Director of Project Management to improve tools, templates, and processes for commercialization efficiency
  • Provide work direction to the Commercialization Coordinator
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with production staff at all levels to ensure smooth information flow and execution
  • 5–8 years of experience leading projects from development through launch readiness in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Food Science, Quality, Supply Chain, or related technical discipline) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration in a business and manufacturing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear action steps
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on timelines, task dependencies, and detail accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
    Smartsheet experience preferred
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self‑directed with strong follow‑through
  • Technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment, especially food manufacturing
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and establish strong working relationships at both plant and corporate levels
  • Passion for food manufacturing and delivering results right the first time
