American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN with a minimum of two years of acute care experience and an active CA RN license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

• Telemetry unit within a teaching hospital setting
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios of 1:5 across days, nights, and weekends
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required as needed

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in telemetry within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
• Two supervisor references required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and telemetry unit/remote monitoring required

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Charge experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Candidates previously employed at the facility must be gone a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred
