American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a CA RN license, ACLS/BLS certification, and Epic EMR experience.

• ICU/CCU setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week contract length
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU/acute care experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in-hand
• Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in work history
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, arterial and central line management
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients
• Experience with ETT and NT suctioning
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Two supervisor references required at time of application

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care environment to acutely ill patients
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on position exceptions
• Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted with the application and confirmed via screenshot; no RTO within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days preferred per 13-week contract
