What You Will Do:

  • Support the Receipt Inspection Team by organizing and preparing the inspection queue, printing documentation for inspectors, communicating order status updates to customers, tracking Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), and processing salvage requests.
  • Work closely with Document Control and Records to ensure all inspection records are accurately entered into the Enterprise Document Records Management System (EDRMS).
  • Enter data for annual rigging inspections into the HLR database, order materials for the team, and track key metrics such as weekly expedites and monthly ALDPI orders.
  • Coordinate with Receiving COR and Accounts Payable to resolve outstanding orders.

Minimum

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and accurate customer correspondence via email.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Outlook, Oracle, Concur, MS Teams, or comparable systems.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management at all levels through both written and verbal channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the workday.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, including tracking shipments, logging receipts, maintaining documentation, coordinating with vendors/suppliers, and ensuring accurate record keeping.

Education/

Experience:

Position requires an Associate's Degree in a relevant field or a combination of technical certification and 2 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

Desired

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of quality concepts and principles, including inspection principles and practices.
  • Administrative support experience working with a team.

Essential Job Functions: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, twist, kneel, work on your feet, work in a warehouse environment, and use a pallet jack.

Work Environment: Working in a noisy environment; varying temperatures.

Work Location: Onsite, located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
