Facility:
This medical center is a Level 3 trauma facility with 10 beds in the department, providing comprehensive urological services to the local community. The facility maintains high standards of care and offers collaborative practice opportunities in a supportive environment.

Board Certified - Urology

Job Details:

• Cover for urologist on medical leave for up to 12 weeks
• Provide both clinic and OR coverage as part of the assignment
• Handle 15-20 patient encounters per shift
• Perform general adult urology procedures and services
• Conduct laparoscopic surgeries - required skill
• Perform preferred procedures including ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy when needed
• Utilize advanced endoscopic techniques when appropriate
• Conduct various preferred procedures including renal and bladder ultrasounds with biopsy
• Perform TRUS biopsies and incontinence procedures as needed
• Experience with Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) preferred
• Must maintain active New Mexico medical license or IMLC
• Board certification required
• Must have ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 12 days
• Lodging options include Holiday Inn Express, Wyndam, and Comfort Inn in Los Alamos and White Rock
• Nearest airports are Albuquerque International Airport or Santa Fe airport

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
