Overview
UNM Los Alamos anticipates hiring temporary part‑time faculty to teach online and/or face‑to‑face Business Administration courses at 1000 or 2000 level. Continuous recruitment starting Summer 2025, contingent on semester need and enrollment. Applicants hired from this requisition will be considered for the next requisition.
Responsibilities- Teach lower division Business Administration courses (Intro to Business, etc.) online or in person.
- Deliver course content, develop assignments, grade, report grades, and assess student learning.
- Meet with students during assigned times and provide academic support.
Minimum Qualifications to teach or develop courses are determined by accreditation requirements and must be met by one of these ways:
- Master’s Degree in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying OR
- A master's degree or higher in a discipline other than that for which you are applying, and successful completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful teaching experience in a post‑secondary institution.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, working with broadly diverse communities.
- Online teaching experience.
- Terminal degree in the discipline or subfield (Ph.D., MFA, etc.).
- New Mexico residence.
