The Opportunity

Tech2 Solutions (T2S) is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLC team and will be providing program management and technical services in support of the ground & surface water monitoring program at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory.

T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in environmental monitoring, remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management, and analytics for federal and commercial clients.

We are hiring an Environmental Professional I - Groundwater Monitoring responsible for sample collection, bottle set preparation, instrument calibration, detailed note taking, purge water management, and generating sampling calendars and reports. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Your Role

  • Collect groundwater samples and document according to sampling plans.
  • Maintain quality control and calibrate water quality meters.
  • Install pressure transducers, operate field equipment, and support water level measurements.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper equipment maintenance.
  • Support project activities, data management, and safety protocols.
  • Perform duties in line with procedures, legislation, and standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and report safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, or related field.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with computer programs including Word and Excel; RCRA waste management is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship required.
