What You Will Do
Do something that matters and make a real difference at one of the world's most prestigious and innovative multidisciplinary research institutions. - Provably secure systems – conducting hardware and software research to provide the highest levels of assurance that systems operate within given parameters and are not susceptible to particular attacks or vulnerabilities.
- Critical system design and analysis – creating systems and software for “no‑fail” national security missions, designing and analyzing Operational Technology (OT) hardware and software for Los Alamos internal systems, and conducting security analyses of IT and OT systems for other government agencies and organizations.
- Cybersecurity workforce development and training – conducting cyber security incident response training for US federal government, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, government contractors, US critical infrastructure, and international partner governments and critical infrastructure.
